The Precor TRM 761 Treadmill delivers Ground Effects® Impact Control (GFX), Integrated Footplant Technology® (IFT), 4 HP AC motor, 0.5–12 mph speed, 0–15% incline in 0.5% increments, 22"×60" running surface, 23 preset programs, and P62 10" touchscreen — 407 lb commercial frame, 83"×35" footprint. Ground Effects® and Footplant Technology® are two distinct impact-reduction mechanisms that work at different phases of the stride. GFX operates at the deck level — the cushioning system progressively absorbs impact as the foot lands, reducing the peak force that travels up through the heel and into the knee and hip on each footstrike. IFT operates at the belt drive level — it detects the slight deceleration that occurs when the foot plants on the belt and momentarily matches belt speed to the foot's natural landing speed rather than maintaining constant belt velocity through the contact phase. On a standard treadmill, the belt continues moving at a constant speed through foot contact, which means the foot must slide slightly backward relative to the runner's body on each plant — creating braking impulse that adds to joint loading. IFT reduces this sliding by matching belt speed to foot speed at contact, which reduces the braking impulse and the associated fatigue accumulation during longer runs. The two technologies address different root causes of treadmill running impact — deck cushioning reduces peak force, belt adaptation reduces cumulative braking load.

P62 10" touchscreen with 23 preset programs including intervals, heart-rate training, fitness tests, and performance runs. 4 HP AC motor for consistent smooth operation. 407 lb Precor TRM 761 commercial frame, 83"×35" footprint. Remanufactured.

GFX Deck Cushioning & IFT Belt Adaptation — Two Distinct Impact Mechanisms
Ground Effects® (GFX) progressively absorbs peak footstrike force at the deck — reducing the instantaneous load spike that travels up through the heel on each landing. Footplant Technology® (IFT) matches belt speed to foot speed at contact — reducing the braking impulse from belt-foot slip that accumulates as fatigue during longer runs. GFX addresses peak force; IFT addresses cumulative braking load. Both mechanisms operate independently on different root causes of treadmill running impact.
P62 10" Touchscreen · 23 Programs · 0.5% Incline Increments
P62 10" touchscreen with customizable workout preferences, entertainment, and intuitive navigation — the same console as on the Precor EFX 761 elliptical. 23 preset programs cover intervals, heart-rate training, fitness tests, and performance runs. 0–15% incline in 0.5% increments allows precise grade adjustment for hill simulation and progressive incline protocols. 0.5–12 mph speed range from walking through running.
4 HP AC Motor · 22"×60" Running Surface · 407 lb Commercial Frame
4 HP AC motor delivers consistent smooth operation under continuous commercial use — AC motors maintain speed more consistently under varying load than DC motors and have a longer service life in high-use environments. 22"×60" running surface provides a full-width, full-length platform for natural stride patterns at all speeds. 407 lb commercial frame for stability through heavy-use daily operation.
