I was thinking about getting Ozempic, but I’m not in the mood to go blind yet. So I decided I’d do it the old fashioned way and called CTX.

CTX stands by their products. I recently purchased a Precor elliptical from them & it arrived with a mechanical flaw. They coordinated with a technician to get my product fixed like new. They accomplished this despite the fact that my home was two states away. Special thank you to Nichole for staying accessible and attentive throughout the process!

Dillon and his team outfitted my entire new gym. We worked together from the beginning stages. They had the same exact vision I had. They did everything possible to make our dream gym. And they did!!
The entire experience was amazing. I literally told them what I wanted and they made it even better. The Build line is amazing. I get compliments on it daily. From the stitching on the equipment to how smooth it is. I can not say enough good things about it. And the plate loaded build equipment is legit. I’m an equipment snob. I love finding the old pieces. But this stuff is even better. Pure quality and can stand some big weights!
We plan on opening a couple more gyms, and we are definitely usi

Rebuilt in our Jarrell, TX shop

What remanufactured means here

Every machine we sell as remanufactured goes through the same process, whatever the brand or the price. Not a wipe-down and a price tag.

  1. Inspected and stripped down

    Inspected and stripped down

Assessed frame to console, then taken apart and checked part by part. Nothing gets judged from the outside.

  2. Wear parts replaced

    Wear parts replaced

Belts, cables, bearings, bushings, grips and safety-critical hardware are replaced as standard, whether or not they still have life in them.

  3. Refinished and rebuilt to spec

    Refinished and rebuilt to spec

Electronics bench-tested, frames and welds checked, panels refinished, then reassembled to the manufacturer's specification.

  4. Tested under load

    Tested under load

A full operational cycle under load before it ships. Anything that fails the final check goes back through service, not onto a truck.

Product details

Commercial-grade equipment, inspected and supported by warranty.

The Nautilus Nitro Leg Extension delivers full knee extension quadriceps training with proper axis alignment throughout the movement, classic variable resistance cams for smooth consistent loading, quick-set leg pad, heavily padded movement arm roller, Ergo Grip® handles, partially shielded 245 lb weight stack with 5 lb increments, and 2"×4" steel frame - 557 lb commercial frame, 55"×36" footprint. The Nautilus Nitro Leg Extension is the commercial-grade counterpart to the Precor C-Line, S-Line, and Discovery leg extensions in the catalog - each built for the same quad isolation objective with different frame lineages and design details. The variable resistance cam is the engineering specification that distinguishes a biomechanically engineered leg extension from a fixed-resistance machine: a standard weight stack connected through a simple pulley applies the same force throughout the arc regardless of where the knee is in its extension range. The problem is that the quadriceps do not have uniform strength through the full knee extension range - they are strongest at approximately 60° to 80° of knee flexion and weaker at full extension (0°) and at deep flexion approaching 90°+. A fixed resistance is either too heavy at the weak points of the arc or too light at the strong point. The variable resistance cam is shaped to vary the mechanical advantage of the lever system through the arc - increasing resistance where the quads are strongest and decreasing it where they are weakest - so the loading matches the muscle's actual force production capacity at each point in the range. The result is that the muscle works near its capacity through the entire arc rather than being limited by the weakest point. The quick-set leg pad allows rapid repositioning between users without tool-free adjustment delays - relevant in commercial environments with high user rotation. The 5 lb weight stack increments are finer than the standard 10 lb increments on many machines, allowing more precise load progression.

Ergo Grip® handles for stability throughout the extension arc. Traditional seat pads for familiar comfort. Partially shielded stack for clean aesthetics and accessible weight selection. 557 lb Nautilus Nitro commercial frame, 55"×36" footprint. Remanufactured.

Variable Resistance Cams · Axis Alignment - Load Matched to Quad Strength Curve
Classic variable resistance cams vary the mechanical advantage of the lever through the extension arc - increasing resistance at the quads' strongest range (60° to 80° of knee flexion) and reducing it where they are weakest (full extension and deep flexion). A fixed resistance machine is limited by the arc's weakest point; the cam ensures the muscle works near capacity throughout the full range. Proper axis alignment through the movement eliminates off-axis shear at the knee joint on every repetition.
Quick-Set Pad · 245 lb Stack · 5 lb Increments · Ergo Grip® Handles
Quick-set leg pad repositions without tools for fast user changeover in commercial rotation. 245 lb weight stack with 5 lb increments - finer than the standard 10 lb increments on many machines - for more precise load progression and easier micro-loading between training cycles. Ergo Grip® handles provide stability and bracing throughout the extension arc. Heavily padded movement arm roller for comfort during heavy sets.
