Product details

Commercial-grade equipment, inspected and supported by warranty.

The Stairmaster HIIT UBE is an upper body ergometer for seated and standing use — belt drive resistance, adjustable crank arms, HIIT-focused training, and commercial construction at 320 lb. A UBE (upper body ergometer) is the cardiovascular equivalent of a stationary bike for the arms: the user cranks a set of handles through a circular arc using the arms and shoulders, generating cardiovascular output without lower body involvement. This is the defining functional distinction — a UBE is the only piece of cardio equipment that produces meaningful aerobic demand entirely through the upper body, which makes it the standard equipment choice for lower-body injury rehabilitation, wheelchair users, and athletes who need cardiovascular conditioning without leg loading. The dual seated and standing modes change the muscle recruitment pattern: seated mode isolates the arms and shoulders with the trunk braced; standing mode allows trunk rotation and lat engagement to contribute to each crank revolution, increasing total output and upper body muscular demand. Adjustable crank arms accommodate different arm lengths and therapy-specific range of motion requirements. Belt drive produces no friction noise and transitions through resistance silently.

HIIT-focused design for interval training and endurance work. 320 lb Stairmaster commercial frame, 70" × 36" footprint. Remanufactured.

Upper Body Ergometer — Full Cardio Without Lower Body
The only cardio modality producing meaningful aerobic demand entirely through the upper body — making the UBE the standard equipment choice for lower-body injury rehabilitation, wheelchair athletes, and athletes needing cardiovascular conditioning without leg loading. Dual seated and standing modes change recruitment: seated isolates arms and shoulders; standing adds trunk rotation and lat engagement for higher total output.
Adjustable Crank Arms · Belt Drive · HIIT Focused
Adjustable crank arms accommodate different arm lengths and therapy-specific range of motion requirements. Belt drive produces no friction noise and transitions through resistance silently — appropriate for shared spaces and rehabilitation environments. HIIT-focused design supports high-intensity interval protocols alongside steady-state cardiovascular endurance work.
