Product details

Commercial-grade equipment, inspected and supported by warranty.

The StairMaster 8 Series 8G Gauntlet delivers the defining stair climbing workout on a revolving staircase with 8" × 9" × 22" commercial steps — full-height, full-depth stairs that replicate true stair climbing more closely than any step-climbing or elliptical alternative. An electronically controlled, chain-driven alternator manages step descent precisely across 26 to 162 steps per minute and 20 resistance levels, delivering smooth, demanding performance from recovery pace through elite-level conditioning intensity.

The console includes 10 built-in programs plus CPAT Fire Fit Test and WFI Test — institutional fitness assessment protocols built in for tactical and fire service training environments. An active "Hot" Bar with remote stop and contact heart rate, Polar-compatible telemetry, Ergo-bar, wide oval handrails, step-up assist, integrated fan, and dual bottle holders round out a feature set designed for serious commercial use. Quieter step design with added joint cushioning. 343 lb, 58" × 34" × 89". Remanufactured.

Revolving Staircase — 8" × 9" × 22" Steps
Full-height, full-depth revolving stairs replicate true stair climbing mechanics more closely than step machines or ellipticals — 8" rise, 9" depth, and 22" width per step, driven by an electronically controlled chain-driven alternator for smooth, precise step descent.
26–162 Steps Per Minute · 20 Resistance Levels
A step rate range of 26 to 162 steps per minute across 20 resistance levels supports recovery-pace walking through elite-intensity climbing — making this machine as relevant for beginner conditioning programs as for advanced athletic development.
CPAT Fire Fit Test & WFI Test Built In
The Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) Fire Fit Test and WFI Test are built into the console — standardized tactical and fire service fitness assessment protocols available without manual programming for facilities serving these training populations.
Active Hot Bar · Ergo-Bar · Oval Handrails
The active "Hot" Bar provides remote stop access and contact heart rate monitoring at the primary grip position. The Ergo-bar and wide oval handrails offer multiple grip positions for comfort and control at different intensity levels throughout the climb.
