Product details

Commercial-grade equipment, inspected and supported by warranty.

The Precor Icarian Camber Bicep Curl delivers selectorized biceps isolation with a pivoting handle, camber bar geometry, low starting weight, small increments, and 11- and 7-gauge 2"×4" electro-weld steel construction — 150 lb stack, 365 lb commercial frame, 47"×35" footprint. The camber bar geometry is the defining biomechanical feature: a straight bar forces both hands into the same forearm supination angle regardless of individual wrist and elbow anatomy, which creates torque at the wrist for users whose natural carrying angle differs from the bar's fixed position. A cambered bar curves the handle positions outward at both ends, allowing each hand to grip at a slightly different angle that better matches the natural forearm rotation angle through the curl arc — reducing wrist torque throughout the movement. The pivoting handle adds a second layer of accommodation: it allows small rotational adjustments as the curl arc progresses, since the optimal forearm supination angle changes from the bottom of the curl to the top. A fixed handle cannot track this rotation; a pivoting handle follows it passively without requiring the user to consciously adjust their grip through the movement.

Low starting weight accommodates rehabilitation and beginner populations. Small increments for precise biceps progression. Rubber feet for floor protection. 365 lb Precor Icarian commercial frame, 150 lb stack, 47"×35" footprint. Remanufactured.

Camber Bar Geometry · Pivoting Handle — Wrist-Neutral Through Full Arc
Cambered bar curves handle positions outward, allowing each hand to grip at an angle that better matches natural forearm rotation — reducing wrist torque compared to a straight bar that forces both hands into the same fixed supination angle. Pivoting handle tracks the changing optimal supination angle from the bottom to the top of the curl arc passively, without requiring active wrist adjustment through the movement.
150 lb Stack · Low Start · Small Increments · 11/7-Gauge Steel
150 lb stack provides full headroom through advanced biceps loading. Low starting weight accommodates rehabilitation and beginner populations who cannot safely begin at standard first-plate weights. Small increments allow precise, gradual biceps progression. 11- and 7-gauge 2"×4" electro-weld steel — heavier section than standard commercial frames — for sustained high-use durability.

3. What maintenance is required?

Inspect guide rods and stack alignment monthly; wipe rods and replace worn bushings annually.

4. Is installation available?

Yes—schedule professional installation during checkout for a seamless setup.

5. What warranty covers these machines?

New units carry full OEM coverage; remanufactured units include a 12 month Build A Gym Guarantee.
