The Precor EFX 534i Total Body Elliptical Trainer delivers patented CrossRamp® technology for adjustable incline and targeted muscle training, smooth quiet electromagnetic resistance, natural stride ergonomic design, contact and wireless heart rate monitoring, intuitive console with workout programs and performance data — 265 lb commercial frame, 86"×32" footprint. The EFX 534i sits between the EFX 536i (235 lb, 85"×32", Experience Console) and the EFX 8xx commercial series (340 lb, 80"×28"–32") in the Precor EFX line by frame weight — at 265 lb it is 30 lb heavier than the 536i and 75 lb lighter than the full commercial 8xx series. The 86" length is the longest of any EFX model in the catalog, 1" longer than the 536i's 85" and 6" longer than the 8xx series' 80" — the longer deck accommodates the stride geometry of the 534i's CrossRamp® mechanism. CrossRamp® on the 534i operates by the same principle as across the EFX line: adjustable ramp incline shifts the elliptical foot path angle, changing which muscle groups receive the primary loading per stride. Higher ramp angles direct the push arc more vertically, increasing glute and posterior chain loading; lower angles flatten the arc toward a walking or running plane, increasing quad involvement. The electromagnetic resistance system is the technology choice that produces smooth, quiet operation: electromagnetic braking applies resistance through a magnetic field rather than mechanical friction, which means no brake pads wearing against a flywheel, no noise from pad contact, and consistent resistance delivery independent of how long the machine has been in use. Contact and wireless HR monitoring provide two paths — contact sensors on the handlebars for convenience, wireless telemetry for accuracy when using a compatible chest strap. Contact us for CrossRamp® angle range and resistance level specifications.

Console readouts include time, distance, calories burned, and heart rate. Natural stride pattern and comfortable hand grips for ergonomic session comfort. 265 lb Precor EFX 534i commercial frame, 86"×32" footprint. Remanufactured.

CrossRamp® Technology · Electromagnetic Resistance — Quiet, Precise, Consistent
CrossRamp® adjustable ramp incline shifts loading between glutes and posterior chain (higher angles) and quads (lower angles) — the same muscle-targeting variable as across the full EFX line. Electromagnetic resistance applies braking through a magnetic field rather than mechanical friction: no brake pad wear, no friction noise, and consistent resistance delivery at any level regardless of machine age or session duration. Contact us for ramp angle range and resistance level specifications.
Contact + Wireless HR · Ergonomic Stride · 265 lb Frame · 86" Length
Contact HR on handlebars for convenient monitoring; wireless telemetry for accuracy with a compatible chest strap — two monitoring paths for user preference. Natural stride pattern and ergonomic hand grips for comfortable session posture. 265 lb frame — between the 536i (235 lb) and the 8xx commercial series (340 lb). 86" machine length, longest in the EFX catalog, accommodating the 534i's CrossRamp® stride geometry.

3. How often should I lubricate the machine?
