The Octane Fitness XT-3700 Elliptical Cross Trainer delivers optimized biomechanical stride path for natural forward and reverse elliptical motion, MultiGrip handlebars for upper body muscle variety, whisper-quiet operation, multiple resistance levels and preset programs, and commercial-grade construction — 350 lb frame, 81"×32" footprint. The XT-3700 is Octane's upright commercial elliptical — distinct from the xRide XR6000 recumbent elliptical in the Octane line, where the user stands and strides rather than training from a seated position. The XT-3700's advanced stride path is Octane's biomechanical engineering of the foot's travel arc: the path the foot follows through the elliptical cycle determines the joint angles at the knee, hip, and ankle, and therefore which muscles are loaded and how the ground-reaction force is distributed through the lower extremity. A stride path optimized for biomechanical precision keeps the knee tracking over the foot through the full arc, reduces lateral deviation that produces IT band and patellofemoral stress, and positions the hip at the joint angles that produce the most efficient glute and hamstring loading per stride. The reverse elliptical stride is the training feature that shifts the muscle loading pattern — forward stride emphasizes the glutes and hamstrings through the push phase; reverse stride shifts the primary loading to the quadriceps and hip flexors as they drive the rearward push. For users targeting quad development or maintaining quad strength alongside a predominantly hip-dominant forward program, reverse stride adds the quad loading variable without a separate machine. MultiGrip handlebars carry from the Octane xRide to the XT-3700 — varied grip positions change the chest, back, and shoulder loading through the arm drive, allowing users to vary upper body emphasis within a single session.

Whisper-quiet operation for home and commercial facility use. User-friendly interface with preset programs and resistance-based endurance options. 350 lb Octane XT-3700 commercial frame, 81"×32" footprint. Contact us for resistance level and program specifications. Remanufactured.

1. How do total-body ellipticals engage the upper body?

Moving handles sync with pedals to work arms, shoulders, and core.

2. What power requirements exist?

Most total-body ellipticals are self generated, while others require a standard 110 V outlet. None require a 20 amp outlet.

3. How often should I lubricate the machine?

Apply a light silicone lubricant to moving components every 6 months.

4. What financing and warranty options apply?

Same financing as all other cardio; new units carry full OEM warranty, remanufactured include Build A Gym's 1 year guarantee. Extended warranties available at checkout.
