The Nautilus Nitro Plus Rear Delt/Pec Fly delivers dual-function selectorized training for both the pectoralis major (pec fly) and posterior deltoids (rear delt fly) from the same seat, adjustable arms, ergonomic seat and back pad, smooth resistance system, and heavy-duty Nautilus Nitro Plus commercial construction — 542 lb frame, 73"×31" footprint. The rear delt/pec fly is the horizontal plane superstation: pec fly and rear delt fly are exact frontal-plane opposites — the pec fly adducts the humerus (arms come together in front of the body) and the rear delt fly abducts and horizontally extends (arms go back). Having both on one machine enables superset training without changing stations, which is the primary programming advantage of dual-function machines in this category. The Nautilus Nitro Plus version adds adjustable arms to accommodate different user arm lengths and shoulder widths — the starting position of each arm determines the angle at which the resistance begins to load the target muscle, and adjustable arms allow each user to set the starting position at their natural arm width rather than a fixed position that may be too wide or too narrow for their anatomy. This is the same argument as the Precor Discovery Rear Delt/Pec Fly's adjustable range of motion — the arm position at the start of each movement determines whether the muscle begins the arc in a properly loaded stretch or in a partially contracted position that shortens the effective training range. The ergonomic seat and back pad maintain the torso in a stable, neutral position through both movement arcs — torso stability is what keeps the posterior deltoid from being assisted by the rhomboids and trapezius pulling the scapula rather than the deltoid pulling the humerus during the rear delt fly.

Smooth resistance system for controlled movement through both the pec fly and rear delt arcs. 542 lb Nautilus Nitro Plus commercial frame, 73"×31" footprint. Contact us for stack specifications. Remanufactured.

Dual Function · Adjustable Arms — Horizontal Plane Superset, User-Fitted Start Position
Pec fly and rear delt fly are direct horizontal plane opposites — pec fly adducts the humerus (arms together), rear delt fly abducts and extends (arms back). Dual-function on one machine enables superset programming without station changes: resistance stays loaded, seat stays set, arm path switches. Adjustable arms set the starting position at each user's natural arm width — preventing the arc from beginning in a partially contracted position that shortens the effective training range.
Ergonomic Seat & Back Pad · Smooth Resistance · 542 lb Nitro Plus Frame
Ergonomic seat and back pad stabilize the torso through both movement arcs — torso stability prevents the rhomboids and trapezius from assisting the rear delt fly by retracting the scapula rather than the posterior deltoid pulling the humerus. Smooth resistance delivers consistent loading through both arcs. 542 lb Nautilus Nitro Plus heavy-duty commercial frame for sustained high-rotation durability.
