Product details

Commercial-grade equipment, inspected and supported by warranty.

The Nautilus Nitro Plus Overhead Press delivers selectorized overhead shoulder pressing with a biomechanically optimized pressing path following the natural shoulder arc, ergonomic seat and back pad for posture support, adjustable seat height, and heavy-duty compact Nautilus Nitro Plus commercial construction — 567 lb frame, 57"×42" footprint. The overhead press machine trains the deltoids and triceps through the vertical pressing plane — the same movement pattern as a standing or seated barbell overhead press, performed on a selectorized machine that controls the press path and eliminates the stabilization demand of free weights. The Nautilus Nitro Plus pressing path is engineered to follow the natural arc of the shoulder's overhead press movement rather than a purely vertical linear path. The shoulder joint does not press in a perfectly vertical line — the glenohumeral joint has a natural slight forward arc as the arm moves from the starting position at approximately ear height through to full overhead extension. A machine that forces a purely vertical press constrains the arm to a path the shoulder anatomy doesn't naturally follow, which introduces wrist, elbow, and shoulder joint torque at the extremes of the arc. The optimized pressing path follows the shoulder's actual movement arc, which reduces joint stress and allows the deltoids and triceps to apply force through the entire press without fighting the machine's geometry. The ergonomic seat and back pad maintain proper spinal alignment through the pressing arc — the lower back should remain supported and the core braced, preventing the lumbar hyperextension that a user adopts when the pressing weight exceeds their comfortable overhead range and they arch to generate additional leverage. Adjustable seat height positions the shoulder at the correct starting height relative to the press arm — the most critical fit adjustment on any overhead press machine.

Compact 57"×42" footprint for space-efficient placement in commercial strength circuits. 567 lb Nautilus Nitro Plus commercial frame. Contact us for stack specifications. Remanufactured.

Insert the weight pin into the desired stack hole; ensure it clicks into place before use.

2. What weight stack size should I choose?

Most base level weight stacks can accommodate even advanced lifters, but for the real weight-movers, look for the items with expansion stacks.

3. What maintenance is required?

Inspect guide rods and stack alignment monthly; wipe rods and replace worn bushings annually.

4. Is installation available?

Yes—schedule professional installation during checkout for a seamless setup.

5. What warranty covers these machines?

New units carry full OEM coverage; remanufactured units include a 12 month Build A Gym Guarantee.
