Product details

Commercial-grade equipment, inspected and supported by warranty.

The Matrix G7 Back Extension strengthens the lower back through a seated, fully supported extension — the user drives back against a contoured pad while the machine guides the torso through a controlled arc. Selectorized resistance trains the spinal erectors directly, with far more control and precise loading than a roman chair or hyperextension bench.

Multi-position foot placement fits a wide range of users, and a thumb-switch start position lets each person set a comfortable range of motion without leaving the seat. A 240 lb stack and heavy-gauge G7 frame make it a durable core and posterior-chain staple for commercial strength floors, physical-conditioning spaces, and serious home gyms.

Lower Back
Glutes Hamstrings

Contoured back pad
Shaped to spread load evenly across the upper back, keeping pressure off the spine through every extension.
Thumb-switch start position
Adjust the starting angle from the seat with a single thumb switch, setting a safe, comfortable range for each user.
Multi-position foot placement
Several foot positions let users of different heights brace securely and keep the hips locked in place.
240 lb selectorized stack
Pin-select resistance adjusts in seconds, scaling from light rehab-style work to heavy posterior-chain training.
Commercial steel construction
Heavy-duty G7 frame and durable upholstery are built for daily commercial use with minimal maintenance.
